Self introduction

My name is Sulaymonov Abbos, 17 years old. Telling about my background I was born on 4th May in 2005 Samarkand region which is one of the familiar region in Samarkand city. I live in Samarkand region with my family and there are four of us in my family. They are my parents, brother and me of course. I have graduated from General Secondary school N16 in 2022 located in Samarkand city, Samarkand region. While studying at school, I took IELTS exam and get 5,5 score.

I am honest about myself and I know my strength and weaknesses so that even my weak points turn out to be my strengths. My hobby is reading books when I have free time I like to read books.
On the other hand, I have been interested in sports since I was young which are football and basketball. I have personal achievement. I have been awarded medals at football city competitions at the regional levels in Uzbekistan. From my childhood I really love Korean tradition and culture. Because my interest in this country after watching Korean historical movies has increased year by year. Then I wanted to study bachelor in Korea and I researched all the universities via the internet. Then, SogangUniversity aroused great interest in me especially Korean language Department is very well taught at your university. After that I decided to study at Sogang University

2. Motives and plans

Since my school years, I have had a great curiosity towards Global Korean studies. On the ground that in my country there are plenty of opportunities to people who known foreign languages and studies for the citezen of my country. Even now such kind of opportunity is being widened. While I was studying at school I tried to learn subjects such as English in depth as they are fundamental for my future career.
I am so much interested in Korea and the famous gentle hospitality of its people apart from its culture and history as since Uzbekistan became independent Korea has been having good relations with our country. This relationship can be seen in almost every field of social life, understanding different culture is very important and today's atmosphere of effective relations between two great countries, I believe that is absolutely vital to have professional business managers for Uzbekistan. Korean culture and its education system have a long history. The fast growing economy, technological advancement and the global ranking education institutes of South Korea with high reputation makes a great aspiration to the students and professionals for the better career perspectives. The above mentioned, ideas awoke my interest in Korea and desire to study bachelor,master and Phd degree there. A lot of my friends who study in Korea told me about the courses of Sogang University and this contributed a lot to my growing interest in Korea. It was a very rewarding experience because I was able to get some interesting information about this University and courses. University of Sogang is one of the top universities in Korea and department of Korean language is one of the most highly ranked Korean Language Departments as well. I decided to take the bachelor’s course of Sogang as I strongly believe that established peace and well developed educational system can provide development and prosperity of nation. I take this opportunity as an opportunity of studying bachelor, master course and becoming a specialist in this area. Moreover, there are a dozen of international students in Sogang university and It is situated in one of the attractive areas of Korea. The reason why I am applying documents for Sogang University is that it is the best place to enhance my knowledge related to Korean culture, lifestyle and tradition. This course provides me with a great opportunity to meet and get to know bachelor's students of different countries and exchange view with them.

3.Volunteering activities

During school years, I have increased my experience through several activities. For example,I was a member of foreign language club specialized in improving language skills of pupils by organizing extra-curricular courses. As I was knowledgeable in terms of English, I was assigned and to learn language. By working with other pupils, my English skills also increased.
