Self introduction

My name is Haitova Nilufar Kobil Kizi, student number 201975027, and I am from Uzbekistan, the country located in the central Asia. Currently, I am doing my master degree on International Development and Cooperation in Graduate School of International Studies of Ajou University. I earned my undergraduate degree back in my country, at Namangan State University in the major of English language and Literature. When I started my study abroad at Ajou University, simultaneously, I started to practice Islam religion thoroughly and it made me interested in eastern countries, where Islam is mostly practiced. So, as my are of interest I chose eastern countries issues, particularly, gender issues, related with women's inactive participation in social life of those countries. And when you asked us to choose one article to analyse during a semester, I went through "American Political Science Review" journal and came up with one very interesting article by Michael L. Ross, called "Oil, Islam and Women". As it is required in the assigment, I will submit this article as my article for the whole semester.

P.s: Dear Professor. I guess I am that student who you mentioned in your second lecture. I was in my country and very recently I came back to Korea with the very last flight from Uzbekistan.
