In
the globalization era, it is not a secret that non-standard forms of
employment have evolved into a modern trend in labor markets all over the globe.
throughout the past few decades, in both industrialized
and developing countries,
their total relevance has raised. Its use has expanded across industries and
professions, as well as underdeveloped and developing countries. there is no only
definition or meaning of non-standard employment. Nevertheless,
four basic
employment arrangements were officially named by European Commission in 2015
and they may be seen as a basic non-standard type working. They are, Fixed-term
contracts/casual work, independent contract works, temporary employment, and part-
time/on-call work. All of them will be analyzed below.
