South University reserves the right to search the contents of students’ personal property or belongings when
there is reasonable suspicion on the part of South University faculty or staff that a
serious risk to the health,
safety and welfare of students, and/or the University community exists. This includes but is not limited to
vehicles brought onto property leased, owned or controlled by the school, backpacks, portfolios and clothing.
This policy also applies to student property in school-sponsored housing.
