The chart below gives information about the number of people (in millions) attending 3 different places of entertainment in Tashkent city between 1995 and 2000.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.

Cinemas Park Theatres


The provided bar chart illustrates the data about the number of participants who attended entertainment spots held in Tashkent city within 5 years(1995-2000).
Overall, it can be seen from the graph that the number of goers to the park showed upward trend while the audience of the cinemas fluctuated moderately at 5 -years intervals and the number of the attendants to the theatres remained unchanged after increasing during the first 3 years.
Looking specifically, people who preferred to spend time in Tashkent city’s parks rose gradually from about 35 millions of people in preliminary year of the given timeframe to just below 70 millions of people till the final year.
People who chose to go to the cinemas increased in numbers from well above 20mln to about 47mln between 1995 and 1997 years before decreasing till 32mln of people in 1999 and again grew till 45 millions at the end of the period.
On the contrary to other trends, starting the timespan with the least number of people(about 16mln), theatres rose steadily till 1998 reaching about 42mln people but showed no change in the last two years.
