Nowadays, in most schools, teachers give homework in order to make sure that pupils learned something. But this method of teaching can be either good or bad for a number of reasons. First of all, I think that we should think like pupil. We know what pupils do after lessons. Actually, they forget everything which teacher told when they leave the classroom. Almost all of them go home and play till the night. When their parents remind them homework, they just ignore it. The reason is that they are children and they want to play more than learning something. For instance, the educational system of Finland is considered as the best way of teaching pupils. Because, there pupils don’t have to do homework at home. Instead, they help to their parents with housework or do what they want. The experts of Finland think giving homework may disturb pupils’ daily life and they spent most of their time on thinking how to do. Secondly, home is full of the things which can interrupt pupils. It’s difficult for them to concentrate their mind on learning. The ideas which they want to write disappear easily if someone calls them. This may cause to unfinished homework. However, homework is beneficial method in autonomous learning. They create something individually and discover themselves. They will be inspired from learning something alone. Trying new experiments, they get experience. To sum up, teachers should consider the interests, the psychology of pupils well. If the given homework is helpful for the present or future life of pupils, they learn something willingly. Download 12.22 Kb. Do'stlaringiz bilan baham: |
