which is used to describe actions happening at the moment of speaking but
not for regular actions, you have very good pupils! If they cannot come to the
right conclusion explain it yourself.
STEP 3: You may also ask one of your good pupils about how the Present
Continuous Tense is formed or explain it to the class yourself. Ask the pupils

Report:
I came to the classroom on time and we began our lesson, greeted, checked the register and then I started to check pupils’ homework. As a warming up activity there were riddles about fruits. Then we began our full lesson. At the beginning of the lesson I put the music and let children listen and repeat, next task was also based on the previous one listening task. In exercise 3a there was a picture with wildlife animals and a text about Mowgli and his friends. Every pupil had already known about this fairy tale and saw the cartoon. They read the text, translated together and shared their opinions about it.in Exercise 3b there were given 5 names of animals and pupils had to match with their picture, what types of animals. Next task I explained about “can” auxiliary verb, its translation into Uzbek and function, then I let the pupils make up sentences with “can”:

  • bears can run

  • birds can fly

  • fish can swim.

Before finishing our time I gave homework and explained how they do and gave one example. At the end of the lesson I evaluated pupils.

Entry 2

Every year in our academic curriculum we have various subjects and most of them are seminars and we have to on ourselves in order to be good specialist in our sphere. Our methodology subject is one the most interesting ones because we learn different types of methods, techniques and approaches which are very useful for our future career. Teacher gave us topics a week in advance to be ready to hand in our theme. My topic was related to reading skill and how to teach vocabulary to young learners. I have searched websites to get more information. I chose Jigsaw reading.
Jigsaw method is an approach to reading that involves the students in speaking and summarizing skills. It is very useful when working with short authentic texts such as newspapers, articles.
I explained every rules turn by turn. “There are smaller chunks of text that you should work together in groups. At first you only learn vocabulary with its definition and try to recall all of them. After that, you will move to another group, exchange your place with another group member. You should tell new words with their meanings to your new group members in 3 minutes. After this time is over you will go back your previous place. I will ask new words turn by turn. Which group members will find more, they will be our winner and my gift.”
Everyone understood correctly and tried to do. at the end of the lesson I gave feedback according to students’ participation after that my teacher gave her opinions freely, told my good and weak points when I did my project.
All in all, I have learnt new techniques for myself also.
