Module 1 Lesson 2 Talking about futureVerbs to talk about the future: Plan to I plan to invest more time in studying English because it’s a must in IT. Eventually I’d like to Eventually /ɪˈven.tʃu.ə.li/, I’d like to manage a team of people. Organizing longer discourse is important for higher level learners. When providing plans, it makes sense to also mention the reason why you have this or that plan by adding ‘because’ or ‘since’ (Note, that ‘since’ here is synonymic to ‘because’). This will make your contributions more informative and also show your willingness to develop communication, which is also likely to create a positive impression on the listener. My immediate aim is to improve my English since I need it to be able to study more successfully in the future. To explain the reason why we do something, we use ‘to + infinitive’.
