Chapter 17. Free trade
Article 113. Customs regime of duty-free trade
The customs regime of duty-free trade is the regime in which goods
are located and sold under customs control in the customs territory in
places determined
by the customs authorities, without paying customs
duties, taxes and without applying economic policy measures.
Foreign goods and goods of Uzbekistan are placed under the customs
regime of duty free trade are sold at retail to physical entities leaving the
customs area and entering the customs territory
and foreign entities
accredited in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
on the conditions established by this Chapter.
It is not allowed to sell (purchase)
goods in duty-free shops to
physical entities who do not cross the State border of the Republic of
Uzbekistan and foreign persons who are not accredited in the Ministry of
foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The sale of goods placed under the customs regime of duty-free trade
is carried out under customs control in duty-free shops.
