Iv. Write about the case that you broke online manners and explain it. (35 points for the correct answer).Write about 150-180 words.

Imagine a scenario where a person is participating in an online discussion forum about a controversial topic. The person strongly disagrees with the views of another participant and decides to express their opinion in a confrontational and aggressive manner. They use offensive language and insults to attack the other person's character and beliefs, ignoring the rules of respectful and civil discourse that are expected in online communities.

This behavior not only violates online manners but also creates a hostile and toxic environment that discourages constructive dialogue and mutual understanding. It can also lead to personal attacks, cyberbullying, and harassment, which can have serious consequences for the mental health and well-being of the victims.

The reasons why someone might break online manners can vary, ranging from emotional triggers such as anger, frustration, or fear, to cognitive biases such as confirmation bias, group polarization, or echo chambers. Sometimes people may also feel emboldened by the anonymity and distance provided by the internet, which can lower their inhibitions and increase their willingness to engage in aggressive or inappropriate behavior.

To avoid breaking online manners, it is important to be mindful of the impact of our words and actions on others, to respect their opinions and rights, and to follow the guidelines and norms of the online community. This includes refraining from personal attacks, hate speech, trolling, spamming, or any other behavior that can harm or offend others. By practicing good online manners, we can contribute to a more positive and inclusive online culture that promotes dialogue, diversity, and mutual respect.
