1. Text (a) Astana
The capital of Kazakhstan is Astana City with the population of 290.000 persons. The area of Astana is 710.2 square kilometers. Places of interest: The monument "Astana - Baiterek", "Duman" centre, circus, central mosque "Nur - Astana", "Cinema city", "Arsenal" cinema, Palace of Peace and Harmony. Astana is a young, modern, and beautiful city.
Text (b) London
London is one of the largest cities in the world. About seven million people live there. London is more than two thousand years old. London's most famous sights are Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and St. Paul's Cathedral. You can see all these places and much more of London from a red double-decker.
