It is noticeable that the proportion of spending on food and services were slightly more than other 2 categories. Also, Japan residents spent greatly significantly percentage of their household budgets on housing then their Malaysian counterparts.
In detail, in Japan 21% of the household money was spent on housing, while for Malaysia it was 34%.
