Introduction


The diagram depicts the spending that an average Australian family spent money in a month in 1991 and 2001.
Overall
It is clear that a family in Australia spent various expense for several family needs in a month in 1991 and 2001. It is interesting to note that it reported the highest expenditure for food of an average family in Australia in a month in both of those years while the figure for clothing was absolute minority.
Body 1
The expense for electricity and water in an Australian family in 1991 and 2001 was 75 and 120 dollar respectively. Although the costs for housing in an Australian family consisted of 95 dollar in 1991, 2001 saw the slight growth of 25 dollar. With respect to the expense for transport, an average family in Australia spent 70 dollar every month in 1991 while this figure for 2001 year declined by 45 dollar.
Body 2
In 1991, the expenditure for food was five times as high as that of the expense for clothing in a family and a month. By 2001, this figure showed the difference of eight times which composed of 160 and 20 in turn.
