My grandfather was a teacher at Polytechnic institute Ireland. He worked at institute and tought students every day. He lived hard and his son and daughter inherited a large house and garden. They carried on the business together until my mother met my father. They got married, moved to the USA and I was born two years later. They didn’t have any more children, so I’m an only child in my family.
