CONCLUSION
The following conclusion can be drawn from the acquisition results reviewed here. This course paper has tried to demonstrate the strategies, factors aims of using stories, jokes and anecdotes in speaking classes its importance in education, how to improve communication skills and as yet, the lack of clear insights from research studies to inform teachers or masters how they might best help new language learners.
After reading this course work you give a lot of information and news about this theme. Furthermore, research studies help us to form insight about the most effective procedures for using stories, jokes and anecdotes and importance of this process.
Also, given that frequency, attention, practice and revision are all necessary for successful learning to speak fluently, an investable conclusion had to be that learners need to take on a considerable measure of responsibility for their speaking skills.
Stories , jokes and anecdotes are the ideal tools in learning language as they guide us through our whole life. So , to learn foreign languages through stories jokes and anecdotes can make effort more interesting, amusing and memorable. Learners have an amazing ability to absorb language when activities are familiar and enjoyable to them. Teaching foreign language on the base of storytelling is exactly the activity which is both familiar and it is fun. Stories, jokes and anecdotes are for all of us, not for children, that is why using them in teaching adolescents is as important as using them in teaching young children. Especially stories can attract students’ attention because they provide challenging topics based on their everyday interests such as love and friendship. They also provide a huge space for fantasy and creativity.
Stories may link English with other subjects across the curriculum which I demonstrate in my course work. They teach students to think.
