The KP Granata Young Scientist Award

The Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiology and

Elsevier in collaboration with ISEK announce the forma-

tion of The KP Granata Young Scientist Award to com-

memorate the tragic loss of Professor Granata, a

distinguished member of the editorial board, a pioneer in

kinesiology and a beloved teacher.

The award will be given to a young researcher who

demonstrates a distinguished accomplishment during the

first 5 years after obtaining his doctoral degree. It

carries a certificate and a $ 250 draft. The winner will

receive the award after delivering the associated lecture

during the ISEK Congress and the manuscript pub-

lished in the Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiol-

ogy.

Interested junior scientists should apply by submitting

an e-manuscript describing their research to the address

below. The manuscript should be prepared according to

the guidelines of the journal, complete with references and

figures ready for publication. Manuscripts will be reviewed

by a committee that will select the winner.
