Overall, it is clear that all museums experienced an increase in the number of visitors during the period given. It is also evident that British Museum maintained its dominance over the timeframe.
Looking at the highest figure first, the number of people visiting British Museum stood at almost 600,000 in the initial year. After reaching a peak of 750,000 in July, this figure dropped dramatically by 250,000 in the next month. In September, however, it grew up to finish at 680,000.
On the contrary, the quantities of people visiting the other two museums were relatively lower. Approximately 400,000 people paid a visit to Science Museum in June, but this figure saw a steady decrease of 100,000 to reach 300,000 over the first three months. Meanwhile, the number of people who visited Natural History Museum started with just under 550,000 in the first year whereas this museum saw its number of visitors dip in the next month. However, both museums witnessed a growth in September, finishing at the same point of about 480,000.
