CONCLUSION
Independent learning has become a major feature of education across all levels. The pedagogy of learning has shifted from the traditional teacher-centered approach to self-directed learning, where students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning process. Independent learning promotes active engagement, critical thinking, and creativity, which in turn lead to the development of lifelong learning skills. In this paper, we have explored the peculiarities of independent learning in different levels to understand how it is implemented and its impact on learners.
Independent learning in primary school is usually guided by a teacher or learning facilitator. The focus is on developing independent learning skills, including self-motivation, self-reflection, self-monitoring, and self-evaluation. In the primary school level, independent learning is closely linked to the development of critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and creativity. One of the peculiarities of independent learning at this level is that it has to be age-appropriate. Young children require guidance and scaffolding to develop independent learning skills. Independent learning in primary school should be structured and scaffolded, and students should be given clear guidelines on what is expected of them. The teacher has to model independent learning behaviors and provide feedback to help learners improve their skills.
Independent learning in secondary school is a continuation of independent learning at the primary school level. At this level, students are encouraged to develop their learning interests, and independent learning is seen as a way of enhancing subject knowledge and critical thinking. Unlike in primary school, independent learning at the secondary level has more autonomy, and learners are expected to take responsibility for their learning.
A significant feature of independent learning at the secondary level is the emphasis on research skills and the use of information technology. Students are expected to conduct research independently, analyze data, and present their findings. This helps to develop analytical skills, and students learn how to evaluate the reliability and validity of information sources.

Independent learning in higher education is the most advanced level of independent learning. At this level, independent learning is expected to be self-directed, and learners are expected to have a high degree of motivation, self-discipline, and self-management skills. The focus is on developing lifelong learning skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and reflection.

A significant feature of independent learning at the higher education level is the use of technology. Students are expected to make use of online resources, use software for data analysis, and participate in online discussions. Independent learning at this level requires learners to be independent researchers, self-directed learners, and lifelong learners.
In conclusion, independent learning is critical in promoting active engagement, critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Independent learning has peculiarities at the different levels of education, from primary school to higher education. At the primary school level, independent learning is scaffolded and structured, while at the secondary level, there is more autonomy for learners. At the higher education level, independent learning is self-directed, and learners are expected to have a high degree of motivation, self-discipline, and self-management skills. Overall, independent learning is a vital component of the learning process and complements formal learning. Independent learning helps learners develop lifelong learning skills, which are essential in today's fast-changing world..
