Abstract

The Author examines the poetic features of ancient Turkic texts, comparing them with 

modern Tuvan poetry. Three-line inscription of the ancient Turks are studied as one of 

possible origins of Tuvan poetic genre “ozhuk dazhy” (“stones of the hearth”), which 

confirms the continuity of traditions ancient and modern literature.
