Theme: Description of your home town

I was born in Termiz, Surkhandarya region. Termiz is a very beautiful city. The city of Termiz is located in the south of Uzbekistan. The area is 27.8 km². The permanent population of the city of Termiz is 189,614 people (as of January 1, 2022). The climate is continental, hot and dry, hot in the summer (the hottest city in Uzbekistan - the highest temperature is 50-55c °, nowadays), the winter is warm and short. Average annual temperature is 16–18°. The average temperature in January is 2.8–3.6, and in July is 28–32°. Sometimes, it can be as cold as -18°C or even lower in winter.Annual precipitation is 133 mm.[2] The city of Termiz is a strategic point for logistics.

I ndustry. There are more than 2,500 enterprises in Termiz, including micro-enterprises, small and medium-sized enterprises, enterprises with foreign investment. There are 6 higher education institutions, an academic lyceum, 2 music schools, and a boarding school specializing in physics and mathematics. There are 21 general education schools and several kindergartens in the city.

  T here is a student palace, a sports school for children and teenagers. There is a regional museum of local history, a network museum "Heritage" in the architectural complex of Hakim at Termizy. The Surkhondarya Archaeological Museum reflecting the 2500th anniversary of Termiz was created by the project and initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan I.A. Karimov; Regional musical drama and puppet theaters are working. There are 4 city libraries and 2 network libraries. There is a zoo (see Termiz Zoo).

Nowadays, every member of society continuously uses various information resources in his daily activities. The volume of information, which is constantly increasing, serves to increase the intellectual potential of the society. As the demand of the time is such, the teacher can improve his professional and pedagogical skills on the basis of modern information technologies. Modern information technologies embody information objects in their environment, their interaction, technologies and means of creating, distributing, processing, and collecting information, as well as the organizational and legal structure of information processes.
When using computer technologies (computer literacy), the teacher can perform several tasks according to its content. They perform the following main didactic functions:─ develops students' interest in science through the use of multimedia technologies.─ in this case, due to the interactivity of education, students' thinking abilities are activated and the efficiency of mastering educational material increases.
