As for the National Parks, they are protected for the protection and use of natural objects and complexes for recreational, scientific and cultural purposes, as well as for the protection of nature of special ecological, cultural and aesthetic significance. There are two of them in the country, the first of which was established in 1976 in Zaamin National Park. The national park is located in the Zaamin district, and its total area in the south-eastern part is 24,110 hectares, covered with 16,828 hectares of forest. Turkestan is connected by mountain ranges. The eastern part of the park borders Tajikistan. There are 700 species of plants in the garden, 13 of which are included in the Red Book, and 153 species of animals.

Ugom-Chotkol State National Nature Park was established in 1990 and is located in Tashkent region. It covers an area of ​​5,740 hectares and is located at an altitude of 900-4,000 meters above sea level. The flora of the garden is very rich, with more than 1,000 species. There are 550 species of animals.
As can be seen from the above, the nature reserves and national parks are not so active, but live. Scientific observations in nature reserves have a long tradition. It will take a long time to show what has been done, but there is still a lot of work to be done in the future. Preserving such unique corners of our country for future generations is our main task.
