Lesson planning is a ‘must’ for every teacher. By it the teacher makes his expressions in the class precise clear. Lesson planning is the most important aspect of teaching and it cannot be altogether ignored. It precedes teaching in the form of planning, thinking and organising. It takes into consideration the past, present and the future.
Different lesson plans may be considered essential for different units in different subjects.
Planning a lesson involves many an activities and a good lesson plan gives the planner an insight to limit the area, which he likes to include in his lesson plan. Prudent planning is bound to supply enough stuff in the teacher to teach successfully in the class. However, a haphazard lesson plan is likely to adversely effect the teaching in class.
Advantages of Teaching Foreign Language Courses
Given the idea that children learn language faster, foreign language courses should ideally be taught from a young age. Starting early provides children with a greater chance to attain a mastery of other languages as they grow older. Experience has shown that children from non-native-English-speaking countries, who have learned their native language and English at the same time, have developed a proficiency in both languages. Studies have also revealed that children become smarter if they are challenged to learn different languages at a young age.
