This line graph shows global IT (information technology) spending over the five years from 2015 to 2020.

In general, there is a clear upward trend in IT spending over the period. At the beginning of the chart, the level of spending is $140.8 billion as of 2015. The following year, this figure was $144.3 billion. The increase is 3.3 billion, or 2.34%. Further growth fluctuates around 2.5%.
Throughout the entire period, we can observe a steady increase in IT investments. This is due to the fact that the world is constantly being digitalized, a lot of work is done by programs, and electronic versions of paper documents are appearing instead of paper documents. That's why governments are investing more and more money in IT, as it will bring benefits and speed up various processes in business and government. As of 2020, the amount of money invested in the IT sector is 157.8 billion dollars, which means that in 5 years, the money turnover has grown by 12%.
