INTRODUCTION (Abstract of PhD thesis) 
 
The aim of the research: modernization of pedagogical mechanisms of 
development of creative activity of students in non-language higher educational 
institutions. 
The object of the research is the process of developing students' creative ac-
tivity in teaching a foreign language in non-language higher educational institutions. 
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
improved on the basis of a complex of communicative, creative activity, creative 
components of teaching English to students of non-language higher educational insti-
tutions, self-assessment, individual development trainings, auto-psychological train-
ing; 
the quality of teaching English in non-language higher educational institutions is 
improved on the basis of optimizing the innovative and creative components of edu-
cational and cognitive activity; 
improved on the basis of factor analysis of cognitive, organizational-activity, 
motivational criteria and concretization of professional skills, practical professional 
knowledge, the model for the development of creative activity of students of non-
language higher educational institutions; 
recommendations are developed to improve pedagogical opportunities for the 
development of students' creative activity in professional fields on the basis of in-
creasing the level of knowledge of the English language.
