Implementation of the research results. A classification of features related to 
effective use of scarce land and water resources in agriculture was developed; 
existing methodologies, models for analyzing the use of land and water resources 
and their application in agriculture are disclosed; changes in the degree of use of 
land and water resources in agriculture and factors affecting them have been 
identified, and directions for their assessment and impact assessment have been 
developed; a clustering strategy has been developed that includes the production 
chain of fruit and vegetable products in Uzbekistan; recommendations on the use of

multicategory indicators were developed in assessing the impact of agricultural 
policy instruments on the effectiveness of the use of scarce resources; for the first 
time in determining the effeciency of land and water resources, the DEA (Data 
Envelopment Analysis) model was used and a recommendation was developed on 
the application of this model in agriculture in determining the effectiveness of 
resources. 
The structure and volume of the thesis. The structure of the dissertation 
consists of an introduction, five chapters, conclusion, list of used literature. The
