2.2. Natural monuments of Uzbekistan 
Although natural sculptures are very different in terms of origin, each of them has 
traces of natural processes. Depending on their condition and structure, it is possible 
to develop measures to solve the problems of the nature of this place. There are 400 
registered nature museums of Uzbekistan. Most of them are organized by "botanical 
museums". 75 of these museums have been given a "passport", that is, they are 
registered by the state and are under special protection. State natural monuments (in 
accordance with Article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Protected 
Natural Areas", State natural monuments are included in category III METH):

Vardanzi natural monument of Navoi region authorities No. K-113 dated 21.04.97 
made in accordance with the decision (former 
which had the status of a nature reserve during the union), its area is 320 ha. 
"Mingbulok" natural monument was established in accordance with the decision of 
the government of Namangan region No. 164/14 of 28.12.91, its area is 1000 ha. 
"Chust" natural monument, on the initiative of Central Asian Plant Protection 
Institute, in accordance with the decision No. 65/5 of the government of Namangan 
region dated August 19, 1990 (as well as II-5 of the Council of People's Deputies of 
Chust district of Namangan region dated August 30, 1990 /12), the area is 1000 ha. 
"Yozyovon" natural monument was established in accordance with the decision No. 
164 dated 23.05.94 of the authorities of Fergana region, its area is 1842 ha. The 
"Central Fergana" natural monument was established on August 2, 1986 in 
accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of the Okhunboboyev 
District Council of People's Deputies of the Fergana Region on the lands of the 
"Solijanabad" farm, its area is 142.5 ha. "Yangibozor" natural monument was 
created in accordance with the decisions of the authority of Yangibozor district of 
Khorezm region (No. 738 of 10.05.03, No. 819 of 4.02.04, No. 853 of 7.08.04, No. 
1155 of 17.04.04) . The area was changing and was 136 ha, 113.2 ha, 120 ha, 121 
ha, and now it is 490.3
