Two maps show the radical changes of the Happy Valley Mall in the 30 years from 1982 to 2012.
Overall, it can be seen that redevelopment resulted in expansion of the shopping mall and rearrangement of its facility.

By 2012, the indoor coffee shop was located in the north-east and food shop beside the coffee shop that they were altered to sports and electronic store in 2012. Additionally, sports store, electronic and furniture market were situated in the west in 2012 and then these stores was removed in 2012 and food shop relocated in the south-west corner of the shop mall.

Previously electronics store in the north of shopping center and lobby area were replaced to Themed Restaurants and Entrance hall. On the other hand, toilets and, Elevator and entertainment area were remained about in 2012.

In addition, the outside shopping mall was significantly changes as to development result. Lake was replaced to Furniture Retail and Parking Lot was built in 2012 by chopped down trees and the way was sharply reduced than 1982.
