1) “would”(‘d)—tasavvurdagi holat yoki ish-harakatlarni (noreal ish-harakat)ifodalash uchun ishlatiladi. O’zbek tiliga “bo’lar edi” deb tarjima qilish mumkin:

  It would be nice to buy a new car, but we can’t afford it.
  
• 
  I’d love to live by the sea.

2) “would have +V3”—o’tgan zamondagi sodir bo’lmay qolgan (noreal)ish-harakat va holatni ifodalashda ishlatiladi:

  They helped us a lot. I don’t know what we’d have done without their help.

  I didn’t tell Salim what happened. We wouldn’t have been pleased.

  Compare: “would” and “would have V3”:

3)”would” ko’pincha “if” ishterok etgan qo’shma gaplarda ishlatiladi:

• 
  I would phone Jalol if I had his number.
  
• 
  I would have phoned Jalol if I had had his number.

  “will” va “would”:
  

• 
  I’ll stay a bit longer. I’ve got plenty of time.
  
• 
  I’d stay a bit longer, but I’ve not got plenty of time.

   Ko’chirma gapni o’zlashtirma gapga aylantirganda “will”→”would”ga aylanadi:

  Tolib said:”I will phone you on Sunday” →Tolib said he would phone me on Sunday

  Laziz said:” The car won’t start” → Laziz said the car wouldn’t start

   Wouldn’t do= refused to do :
   

• 
  I tried to warn him, but he wouldn’t listen to me.

  The car wouldn’t start.(=it refused to start)

   “would”—o’tgan zamonda takroriy ish-harakatlarni ifodalash uchun ishlatiladi.Bunday holatda “would” →”used to” ga sinonim bo’lib keladi:

   Would you mind + Ving + O? or Would you mind +if +S+V2 +O?
   

Would you mind closing the door ? or Would you mind if I closed the door?
