Goals for Integrated Community Experiences

  • Immersion in a community to learn about living and practice there

  • Experience learning in a remote/rural and Aboriginal community

  • Continue development of clinical skills and curriculum content.











Year 3

  • 30-week Integrated Comprehensive Community Clerkship (CCC)

  • Two 4-week Electives







Advantages of Distance Learning

  • Greater involvement and awareness of diverse communities

  • Increased capacity for training

  • Increased likelihood of physicians choosing to work in underserved settings
