As a concluding remark, it is important to always keep in mind, that the Roman Law is the most important type of law there is, since it is the backbone of many legal systems of different countries, including our own. Another point to remember is that there were many important characters and roles that played an important part in the development of the Roman law, that made it so vital and efficient, including the role of the jurist during the Principate, since one of their aims was to protect and conserve the Roman Law
