6. METHODS OF CONTROL
A final grade of science is the sum of current knowledge control grades and the fulfilment of tasks assigned to an exam (assuming that the student graded 30 points and above on the exam). The final grade cannot exceed 100 points.
For students of full-time education current control is performed by checking the understanding of theory and ability to solve practical problems. The maximum amount of points for the current control on practical lessons and for writing tasks is equal to 30 points.
Variabletasks. Having informed the teacher, the student could do any individual task. The maximum amount of points for individual task is equal to 20points.
There are 5 tasks on the exam for students of full-time education: 3 theoretical questions and 2 case sums. Each task is graded on a scale from 2 to 5 points. Except for an unsatisfactory grade, the earned pointsare multiplied by 2 in order to translatethe results of the examin a 100-point scale.
The results of the exam are evaluated in the range from 0 to 50 points (inclusively). In the case when the answer of a student for the examination has been evaluated less than 30 points, he receives a failing grade (0 points), and the final grade of science includes the results of current control.
Students who receive amount from 30 to 59 points(including 30 points, which the student scored on the exam) as a result of sum of current control and exam, after appropriate training and his own statement, have the right to retake the examination.
The final grade of science of all educations forms students is determined by summing the total points according to the results of current control and on the exam. 100-point grading scale transfers to a 4-point scale and the ECTS system in the following order:
