The vineyards of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux are planted along a narrow strip of land that 

overlooks the River Garonne and stretches for over 37 miles. 

 

APPELLATION D’ORIGINE CONTROLEE : Premières Côtes de Bordeaux 

Blanc (white). 

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION : Capian. 

AREA PLANTED : 3 hectares (7.4 acres). 

YIELD : 40 hectolitres per hectare. 

PRODUCTION : approximately 16,000 bottles. 

SOIL TYPE : limestone – clay. 

PRUNING METHOD : Traditional. 

GRAPE VARIETY : 100% Sémillon. 

VINE AGE : 35 years. 

MATURING : stainless steel tanks. 

HARVEST : manual harvesting with successive sélective picking from October to November. 

VINIFICATION : Cold settling of solids followed by slow, température-controlled 

fermentation. 

BOTTLING : 18 months after the harvest. 

FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS : This wine will enhance enjoyment of foie gras, 

Roquefort cheese and desserts. It is also much appreciated at cocktail hour or at any time of day. Best 

served chilled : 10° (50°F).
