Conclusion
It is obvious from the above discussion that vitamin D is im- portant in the body to maintain physiologic homeostasis. Be- sides this, alteration of vitamin D status in the body, underlies different pathologic conditions. Therefore, vitamin D is gaining great interest in recent biomedical research works.
