Overall, it can be viewed that degree of landfill was the highest amount in 2005 and there was a significantly reduction over the period.
Looking closely at the details, numbers of landfill stood at 1800 million tonnes in the beginning of given period. It reduced dramatically year by year and dipped to 600 million tonnes in ending of period. On the other side, buring observed a gentle growth at that time and rate of burning changed from well above 400 to well bellow 1000 million tonnes.
In terms of dumping at sea, its quantity experienced a period of stability over whole period and it was 600 million tonnes, apart from 2008. By 2008, its rate fell negligibly.
