What does it mean to be successful?
Life is a success only when you managed to become successful in it – this is the
credo held by many people who set high goals and gradually achieve them. In the
modern world, quite a lot of things are connected with the material well-being of a
person, which often determines the degree of his success.
In the very concept of a "successful person", everyone puts something of their own.
So for some, a person with a high salary, real estate and an expensive foreign car is
considered successful, while others believe that a strong and happy family is a much
more significant indicator of success. In fact, in this case, success implies the well–
being of a person in all aspects of life - in family, love, work, relationships with
friends and colleagues, hobbies.
Success for each of us is something individual, it can be creative, material or
understandable only for a person who has achieved his goals. Since each of the
people puts his own specific elements into understanding success, on the basis of
which he comes to the conclusion whether he feels successful in a particular field of
activity, it is not possible to judge the success of all people by the same criteria.
Nevertheless, it is obvious that a successful person must have many strong–willed
qualities that will contribute to him in all his endeavors - diligence, perseverance,
purposefulness, self-confidence, the ability to overcome problems, faith in his own
strength and knowledge.
In addition, speaking about success, it should be understood that there are successful
people who are considered as such by society and those who consider themselves
successful. For example, oligarchs, Hollywood actors and world award winners have
always been considered successful by the people, even despite the fact that a person
himself may not consider himself such, since, according to his own conviction, he
has not yet achieved everything he would like.
Thus, success undoubtedly plays an important role in the life of every person,
allowing him to feel his importance, opportunities and social status in society, and
also, it serves as motivation for further development.
