Intro: Hello everyone! Welcome to my speech! (next slide) We are gonna analyze “What’s happening in North Korea” with you. (next slide) Body: First let’s try to know more about Korea, North Korea. North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is a country in East Asia. (next slide) It constitutes the northern half of the Korean Peninsula and shares borders with China and Russia to the north, at the (next slide) Yalu (Amnok) and (next slide) Tumen rivers. And (next slide) South Korea (next slide) to the south at the (next slide) Korean Demilitarized Zone. North Korea, like its southern counterpart, claims to be the legitimate government of the entire peninsula and adjacent islands. (next slide) Pyongyang (next slide) is the capital and largest city. (next slide) Here you can see its Retro Sci-Fi Architecture. (next slide) And you know who is he… (look at the screen) Kim Jong-un (kɪm dʒɒŋˈʊn un, Korean: 김정은, Korean: [kim dzɔŋ ɯn] born 8 January 1983) is a North Korean politician who has been Supreme Leader of North Korea since 2011 and the leader of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) since 2012. With his signature [signeche] (show the little picture) (next slide) And now we are turning to our theme: “What’s happening in North Korea?” (next slide) I wanna tell you about the “Covid-19” effect (next slide) North Korea says nearing end of COVID crisis. (next slide) The isolated country’s claim comes as Asian neighbours are battling a new wave of infections driven by Omicron subvariants. North Korea is on the path to “finally defuse” a crisis stemming from its first acknowledged outbreak of COVID-19, the state news agency said on Monday, while Asian neighbours battle a new wave of infections driven by Omicron subvariants. (next slide) The North says 99.98 percent of its 4.77 million fever patients since late April have fully recovered, but due to an apparent lack of testing, it has not released any figures for those who tested positive. “The anti-epidemic campaign is improved to finally defuse the crisis completely,” the Korean Central News Agency said. (next slide) It added that the North had reported 310 more people with fever symptoms. The North also said it has been developing new methods to better detect the virus and its variants, as well as other infectious diseases, such as (next slide) monkeypox. And Here you can know more about. Conclusion: In conclusion, I just want to tell you about these. I hope you like them. (next slide) Thank you for your attention! Download 16.27 Kb.
