  • In order to secure continuity and smooth launching of the programmes, the current Managing Authorities – namely Regional Council of Lapland, Council of Oulu Region and Regional Council of South Karelia – could continue in their task also in the future

  • It is also evident that the Managing Authorities need support in the implementation of the programmes → relevant support structures should be discussed when preparing the programmes

Programme description, institutional structure, tasks, rights and responsibilities of the Managing Authorities and participating countries, funding, irregularities and financial liability shall be provided in it

  • The above mentioned is subject to final approval of the EU legal framework and should also take into account relevant national legislations
