CONCLUSION
Teaching foreign languages occupies one of the priority positions in the formation of a comprehensively developed personality and is based on the program of general education schools in a foreign language. Learning a foreign language is one of the compulsory subjects in a secondary school. An important aspect of learning English is learning to write in English. Despite the fact that writing, according to the state educational standard, is the goal of learning, in fact it is often still considered as a means, and in the theory of learning, questions of approaches to teaching writing at school remain undeveloped, which inevitably leads to insufficient practical results.
In this study, the issue of teaching written speech at the middle stage of a comprehensive school, the nature of this type of speech activity and its features were considered. The features and connection of written speech with other types of speech activity were considered, a methodological development of a lesson plan for teaching written speech at the middle stage of a comprehensive school was made.
Having considered the theoretical aspects of teaching writing, namely: the concept of foreign-language written speech, the goals and content of teaching writing, the ways and means of forming foreign-language written speech, it was concluded that the teaching of written speech is inextricably linked with teaching other types of speech activity. Written speech allows you to save linguistic and factual knowledge, serves as a reliable tool for thinking, stimulates speaking, listening and reading in a foreign language.
In the course of the work, it was revealed that if the goals of teaching writing and writing are correctly defined, the role of writing in the development of other skills is taken into account, the exercises are used that are fully consistent with the goals, and these exercises are performed at the appropriate stage of learning, then oral speech gradually becomes richer and more logical. Thus, we can conclude that teaching writing is an integral and important part of the content of teaching English.
