Bunday gaplarda feel asosan that yoki about so’zlari bilan birga keladi. Bunday gaplarda feel fe’lini think fe’li bilan almashtirsa ham bo’ladi, ma’nosi o’zgarmaydi, faqat feel dalildan ko’ra ko’proq his-tuyg’uni (emotsiya) ifodalaydi. I feel you are wrong. – Menimcha sen yanglishyapsan. I feel that you should study more. – Sen ko’proq o’qishing kerak deb o’ylayman. How do you feel about going out tonight? – Bugun kechqurun ko’chaga chiqishga nima deysan? 2)sense so’zi bilan bir xil ma’noga ega bo’lib, sezmoq degan ma’noni ifodalab kelganda. Don’t you feel the house shaking? – Uy qimirlayotganini sezmayapsanmi? 3)bog’lovchi so’z sifatida kelganida. Bunda xuddi to be kabi ishlatiladi va tuyulmoq deb tarjima qilish ham yoki umuman tarjima qilmaslik ham mumkin. The water feels cold. (=The water is cold.) – Suv sovuq. (Suv sovuq tuyulyapti) Feel quyidagi holatlarda davomli (continuous) zamonda ishlatilishi mumkin: 1) biror narsani bilish, o’rganish maqsadida ushlab ko’rmoq (= touch) degan ma’noda kelganda. The doctor is feeling her pulse. – Doktor uning pulsini (tomir urishi) ko’ryapti (ushlab ko’rib tekshiryapti). She is feeling her son’s forehead. – U o’g’lining peshonasini ushlab ko’ryapti (issig’i bormi, yo’qmi deb). 2)biror narsani topish maqsadida ushlab ko’rmoq, paypaslamoq (= touch) degan ma’noda kelganda. He is feeling the keyhole in the dark. – U qorong’uda kalit teshigini paypaslayapti. 3)kishilarning jismoniy, aqliy va ruhiy holatini ifodalashda. Bunda asosan angry/pleased, happy/sad, hot/cold, tense/relaxed, nervous/confident va shu kabi boshqa sifatlar bilan ishlatiladi. How are you feeling today? – Bugun o’zingni qanday his qilyapsan?
