The success of enterprises, as well as of the whole state, due to the limited natural resources, to a large extent today is determined by how widely the achievements of scientific and technological progress and high technologies are integrated, the level of professional qualification of personnel. Historically, on the eve of the twenty-first century in the Republic of Uzbekistan there was formed the intellectual potential, which excels many developing countries at its level of development, innovative discoveries and superior capabilities of today, and in many respects is not inferior to the economically developed countries. No exaggeration is in saying that the foundation of a unique and beautiful building of science, the intellectual potential of Uzbekistan was founded many centuries ago. We may proudly say that our science goes back to very ancient times and has deep and powerful roots. Over centuries, it reliably serves to the Uzbek nation, the whole of humankind in the cognitive process of the mysteries of nature, medicine, philosophy, jurisprudence, theology, literary studies and linguistics.
Even in the remote past, leading Uzbek thinkers widely carried out investigations, made scientific discoveries that constitute the golden fund of world, of human science and culture. Our great ancestors, whose names are known all over the world greatly contributed to the treasury of knowledge. Those are philosophers-mathematicians and astronomers al-Khwarizmi, Ferghani, Jawhari, Marwazi, Ulughbeg; philosophers and legal scholars-theologians Farabi, Bukhari, At-Termizi, Marghilani Nasafi; polymaths Beruni, Ibn Sina, linguists- poets Kashkari, Yusuf Hos Hojib, Zamahshari, Alisher Navoi; historians Babur, Abulgazi Bahadur-khan, Ogahi and many others.
Having absorbed best traditions, pursuing in-depth studying of the historical heritage, scientists of Uzbekistan have become praiseworthy successors and continuator s of the deeds of their great ancestors.
