1.      What is your understanding of reasoning?

Merriam-Webster defines reasoning as the process of thinking about something in a logical way in order to form a conclusion or judgment. This is OK as far as it goes, but we need to expand and sharpen it quite a bit

2.      What do you think why reasoning is necessary in learning languages?

The ability to reason has a fundamental impact on one's ability to learn from new information and experiences because reasoning skills determine how people comprehend, evaluate, and accept claims and arguments.
