85mm Canon FL f/1.8:
(Production started in 1961, Based on the earlier Canonflex RF lens 85mm f/1.8)

The loveliest OOF and Bokeh among all 85 to my eye. Still an Ernostar/Sonnar based lens, all later versions of the 85mm f/1.8, starting from the FD are already Double-gauss/Planar type lenses.

A later lens based on this design, more a hybrid due to a change in the rear group (closer to double gauss):

  • Leica APO-Summicron M 90mm f/2 ASPH (1990)

100mm Kaleinar 5H f/2.8:
(Арсенал, 1983)

Quite similar lenses were made by many manufacturers, still only the oldest Takumar has the character and the drawing of the Kaleinar and Rolleinar. The first Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 is the closest lens in terms of scheme and calculations, it is just as sharp, but shows different focus transitions and colours.
