  • While some fashion trends of the 60s continued in the '70s, this decade also brought many new styles . The hippie and disco fever was also included many different materials like velvet , polyester and many elastic and shiny fabrics. It was also the decade where unisex garments were introduced. Leisure suits , platform shoes and tight jeans are striking product of the 70s.

  • Skirts:For all women were fashionable regardless of shape or taste, 70 offered three skirt lengths, small cuts, medium and long were equally popular. The era of miniskirts continued through the '70s, but the medium and long dresses also gained a following. While medium skirts reaching to the knees and ankles, gowns reached the floor. Many were called "granny dresses" and is generally used for formal events. They came straight cut or flared and usually had high necks and long sleeves.
