A wise doctor

Once of the Iran kings used to be too fat. In fact, being fat is bad for health. He gathered all the doctors and ordered to treat him but it was useless. And the king put on weight more and more.

Once a wise man visited to treat the king.

• 
  I will treat you ,my king,- he said. But you should give me a three-day period and I ‘ll hit upon a cure for you.
  

After 3 days the man said to the king :

• 
  Oh my king! You have only forty-day period of life left. It was probably preordained like that. If you don’t believe me ,put me in dungeon and take vengeance on me.
  

The king ordered to put the man in dungeon at once. But he forgot about merriment, mounting a horse and began to wait for his death –hour. Grief and sorrow seized his being completely. He used to go away other people. From day to day his anxiety increased more and more and he lost weight very soon. After forty days, the king ordered to bring the man and said:

  As you see I am still alive.
  
• 
  Oh my king, I used cunning on purpose to lose your weight. Because I could not find any cure for your disease,- the wise man said.
  

After all, the king expressed his thanks to the wise man and gave him lots of presents.
