Preparation of highly qualified specialists working in the field of higher education in the fields of economy, science, technology and culture, using the latest scientific, cultural, technical innovations and working out theoretical and practical problems is understood.
The main purpose of higher education is to develop the scientific, cultural, economic and social spheres of the republic, which can meet the requirements of modern, highly qualified, competitive, highly educated, highly qualified specialists. It is the training of highly qualified professionals who contribute to z, independent thinking and high spirituality.
Higher education institutions
Higher education institutions have legal status. There are the following types of higher education institutions in the Republic:
University - Provides a comprehensive education for students in the field of higher education in order to continue their studies in the field they pursue;
Academy - Prepares a specific course for further study while pursuing higher education as well as higher education;
Institution - like all higher education institutions - carries out the higher education program, with one-direction education.
Legislation permits the establishment of non-governmental institutions for higher education. The institution has the right to train only after the state accreditation has been properly certified.

The list of directions for full-time training specialists is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The purpose and objectives of higher education
The main purpose of higher education is to develop the scientific, cultural, economic and social spheres of the republic, which can meet the requirements of modern, highly qualified, competitive, highly educated, highly qualified specialists. It is the training of highly qualified professionals who are able to think independently and contribute to their spirituality.
The main objectives of higher education are:
to ensure the quality of teaching on the basis of state-of-the-art educational standards;
preparation of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff;
Improvement of the system of personnel training taking into account the modern principles of science, culture, economy, economic and social prospects of the country;
- instill in the education of young people the national and universal values, love for the country, family, environment, in order to promote the humanity of higher education;
implementation of interactive teaching methods, pedagogical and information technology, independent learning, distance learning;
Development and implementation of mechanisms of harmonization of science and production mechanisms in higher education;
development of science, technology, technology with the help of scientific and creative activity of scientific and pedagogical staff and students, contributing to the economic development of the country through the educational process;
development of competition in the market of educational services based on the development of state and non-state higher educational institutions;
introducing community-based trustee boards and supervisory boards to improve and manage higher education institutions;
conducting marketing researches to check the quality of education and staff training, and the establishment of targeted employment monitoring;
development of mutually beneficial international relations in the field of higher education.
The structure of higher education
The system of higher education is structured as follows:
