Dear Maftuna

I hope you and your family are doing fine. I'm sorry that I couldn’t write back to you because I was terribly busy with getting my things organized to start study in university.
Anyway, now I am all set with my new life and trying to adapt to the new environment and conditions of this new university slowly. Of course, it will take a bit longer for me to understand the life of student, but people are charming and friendly here and I have made some new friends. The place, where I live in now, is a small town but it is certainly a beautiful place with lots of trees and beautiful landscape. So, I guess, you can say that I am enjoying my time here.
There are a lot of beautiful old buildings. Samarkand is a unique city, where history and modern life are brought together. I haven’t done any souvenir shopping yet, but there’s plenty of time for that.

Well, that’s all. Maybe we will be able to meet one day?
