Entry 1. Descriptive Report of the teaching context.
1.1. Descriptive Report
I am Islomova Navruza, student of SamSIFL. I am graduating this year a member of group number 418, English faculty 1. Because of my pedagogical practice I was sent on 17th secondary school in Samarkand city for qualifying practice. Teaching practice begins from 19 September till November, which consists of 48 work days. As I mentioned before during the practice period I got much useful information which would be necessary in my future profession, such as various methods, strategies, techniques, approaches and other helping data. Firstly, we made a contract with director of school. And conference is held by teachers to account for our practice's aims and how should it be hold. Secondly, we began our practice in school. This process divided into two parts: first part was passive practice which carried out in twelve days, second was active practice which we should gather all our documents, observe and analyzed lessons, to develop teaching strategies and learn make lesoon plans.
I decided to begin in friendly atmosphere. So I chose my ex- school number 17 which is located in Samarkand city.In the beginning I went to the school building and met director of the school D. J. Husanova. She signed the contract and assigned me a English teacher, who was my monitor Xudoyberdieva Aziza Yusufjanovna. Director D.J. Husanova gave a lot of information to me about internal regime of school, treatment etiquette and dress code. Furthermore, she ordered me to follow firmly which were mentioned by her. Moreover, I have got acquainted with English classroom, where pupils learn English and teachers’ lesson plans.
I have been working with 4th classes. From the first day, I got acquainted with schedule, the program of the qualification practice under the guidance of my teacher Aziza Yusufjanovna. Then, I have been observing, teaching and assessing them according to their behaviours, knowledge and atmosphere. Classes consist of 45 minutes and we called it as 1 hour. Break time is 5 or 10 minutes. I got acquainted with qualitative practice objects and criteria for evaluation of qualification practice. During the qualitative practice, I took an active part in the classes and watched the lessons without leaving behind. During practice I noticed and learnt not only English lessons, but also interesting lessons in native language, history, mother tongue, biology which included in the curriculum of elementary classes. Furthermore, the geography, the mathematics.
At the preparatory stage of the qualitative practice, in the first week, I learnt the school conditions, management structure, pupils and teachers. I learnt the thematic and the lesson plan of the teacher. I watched and analyzed English lessons regularly. I learnt the best educational and scientific, methodological literature. I got acquainted with the creative work of the pupils. I’ve learned the plan of supplemental and extra-curricular spiritual and educational work. I was acquainted with the spiritual and educational plan of the classroom and observed and analyzed them.
The next weeks, I got acquainted extra-curricular spiritual actions of the classes’ plans and important educational and methodological works which helps while teaching. Furthermore, I learnt plan for working with pupils’ parents.
After all, I have taught classes as a teacher independently without sharing with another teacher. During the lessons I have faced some difficulties. It was time management. Because in my class there were 20 pupils. So sometimes it was impossible to evaluate all of them in one lesson or at the same time. I tried made some extracurricular activities with pupils' willings.
During last weeks of my practice I attended to the school exams from biology, English history and other subjects I learnt to evaluate rating system. The last week I wrote fully diary for qualification practice and it was confirmed by D. J. Husanova and Tolibova Taxmina.
To sum up, I finish my practice on 15th of November the I worked with my documents wit my supervisor. I have scrutinized a lot of from my teaching practice as teacher. I learnt more and more things and experience. I learned working with pupils and using interesting manuals. Moreover, teachers should get on with pupils friendly and all the time try to understand them. The most significant thing is that, teachers should be knowledgeable, polite, kind and one of the most important thing is fluency of tongue.
