Great Engineers in last several decades

         “Great Engineers in last several decades” 

There were a lot of talented engineers in last decades but in this essay I am going to tell 

you about my favorite ones. From my point of view the greatest engineers of last few 

decades are Elon Reeve Musk, Steve Paul Jobs and Henry Ford. 

Elon Reeve Musk is the youngest representative of this list. He is very ambitious and 

makes the impossible things possible. He is a founder of SpaceX company and CEO of 

Tesla Company. SpaceX made history as the first commercial company to launch 

and berth a vehicle to the International Space Station. Tesla was one of the first 

companies producing electric cars. Initially Tesla built an electric sports car and after 4 

years started producing its four-door electric sedans. 

Steve Jobs was CEO and co-founder of Apple Inc also chairman and one of the 

founders of Pixar. He is considered to be a pioneer of the era of information technology. 

Apple is the company which invented well known iPhone and produced the thinnest 

laptop in the world called Macbook. When Steve Jobs was temporarily fired from Apple 

he didn't give up and bought 70% of Pixar Company which later invented the technology 

of 3D modeling. Without Jobs Apple was in a very bad situation. Then Steve Jobs 

returned to the Apple as CEO and the company became popular and rich again. 

Last but not the least person from the list is Henry Ford. He was an 

American industrialist and founder of the Ford Motor Company. By creating the first 

automobile that middle-class Americans could afford, this company converted the 

automobile from an expensive curiosity into an accessible conveyance that profoundly 

impacted the landscape of the 20th century. Ford Motor’s initial capital was only 

$28.000 and they managed to make billions from thousands of dollars. Ford was 

producing aircrafts as well. Their most successful aircraft was the Ford 4AT Trimotor 

because of its corrugated metal construction. The company did not go bankrupt even 

after World War 1. 

In conclusion I want to say that I admire everyone from this list and I am doing my best 

to invent something great.
