This essay analyses the formal letters in English and Uzbek languages, and it will consist of some examples of distinctions and similarities between them.

The structure of formal letters in English differs from Uzbek language. Firstly, on the right top of the english one, there are your address, city, postcode, your e-mail and date, but, unlike formal letters in English, the date and signature are written on the lower left side of uzbek one. In that place in uzbek sample there is the name of the receiver, however, in english, the name of the receiver is written on the left. The date and signature must be written on the left bottom in uzbek formal letters.

As regards to their sameness, in the top middle of the paper, the name of the document is written. Every letter have tha same paragraphs but their order is deifferent. The main body is also similar. Moreover, the words which are formal and academic must be used in. Grammatical structure of the sentences should be a bit more complicated.



To conclude, I learn more about formal letters in uzbek and English languages, their dissimilarities and resemblences and get a huge knowledge about them.
