Please arrive between 08.00am and 17.00pm. 
The Lettuce Company, Kent grows spring onions, continental onions and organic onions and spinach, along side a large Arable crop (Wheat, Barley & Peas). We farm
over 1000 acres. The farms are in several areas from North Kent (Dartford) through to the Isle of Grain. We are also a grower for the G's Group. 
In 2017 we developed our new hostel for our harvest staff. The hostel now has a recreation room with pool tables, darts and table tennis. We have added a gym in the
recreation area and a football area. 
The new hostel site is just over 2 miles from the village of Hoo. The Village has a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. The Post Office and Subway is located in the
local spar supermarket, there is a cash point machine here as well . Other shops include a CO-OP store (cash point machine), Pharmacy, Opticians, Indian and Chinese
restaurants, and a Fish and Chip shop. There is also a sports centre with indoor swimming pool. 
A regular bus service runs from Hoo to take you to places such as Rochester, and the local area. The train station in Strood or the recently opened Rochester station offers
you the chance to easily access the coast or London. The fast train to London offers you the opportunity to see some famous landmarks (Tower of London, Big Ben,
London Eye, The Shard) and many museums, watch a show or just experience the night life.
